I have learned alot in these two videos. I didn't know so much has originated from Immokalee, fl. In these videos Hispanics and Native Americans were mainly represented in the videos. Its showed us how they came about and what they did to make Immokalee what it is today. Immokalee differs from Fort Myers so much. I was born and raised here and i have never know of this city grown crops or forming another industry like the Native Americans did for Immokalee.
In my opinion Immokalee is more like the "New" American Dream. What i mean by that is there showing that they have come to america for a purpose and is to get the job done so they could support there families. They weren't trying to buy fancy cars and big houses, they were makeing a names for themselves by growing crops and i dont think they realized it. In 10 years i think Immokalle would be bigger and better with more crops and more tourist sooner or later im going to be makeing a trip down to the growing city!

I agree with Immokalee being the "new" American dream. As i watched the videos I thought the same thing. I nten years I feel Immokalee will be more developed but the atmosphere of it being a farming town will not be affected. I think Imokalee will just have a small face lift so it will become a bigger and better city for itself.
